Nick Luft: A Letter to the FlyFam

Hello everyone,

I’d like to speak a little bit about my experience this past split and reasons for a change going forward. This split was a difficult one for me. I was plagued by issues with my health and it made it difficult for me to have the impact that I would have liked. Primarily issues with my wrist which I’ve not yet been able to resolve made the day to day work of an in house coach difficult to fulfill. A lot of my passion for this job comes from being able to play the game in my down time and having that stripped away alongside making my work obligations difficult to fulfill made it a very stressful period of time.

With my health in mind, I’m going to be stepping down from my role at FlyQuest for the summer split. I want to take my time to head home to New York where I can comfortably recover and spend time with family until I’m back to my ideal form. I’d like to thank Robert, Nick, Min seong, Gabe and everyone else at FlyQuest for helping to make my time spent here positive despite my injuries and illness.

Thank you,

Nicholas Luft
