FlyQuest was established in January 2017 and has since been a staple in the esports community.  Striving to develop a world-class franchise, it became known for its winning culture, talented players, loyal fan base and innovative business practices that have been at the forefront of its philosophy. FlyQuest is committed to growing esports globally and bringing innovative partnerships, sponsorships and fan engagement practices to the industry. FlyQuest currently operates teams across three different esports titles: League of Legends, Rocket League, and PUBG. FlyQuest was accepted as a permanent partner of the NA LCS in November, 2017.

About the Position

FlyQuest is seeking a passionate and motivated Intern to join our Community team for an eight (8) week summer program. Our Community team focuses on fostering deeper connections with our fans through digital and event based activations. The candidate will be immersed in a thriving esports team and be exposed to various business operations surrounding the Community department. This opportunity will commence on June 18th and conclude on August 10th.

Responsibilities

 
 
  • Assist the Community Manager in the development of Community programs
  • Assist the Community Manager in Live Event execution, inventory tracking, and scheduling of all Community Events
  • Participate in community based events and help empower our fans. 
  • Ideate, develop and present to the company an idea for an activation, improvement, or new venture specific to the Community department

Requirements

 
 

The ideal candidate is an undergraduate student or graduating student involved in collegiate esports,  in the Los Angeles area who is majoring in Event Production, Community Management, Communications, Marketing or Advertising. This person should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with knowledge of digital editing and social media. Proficiency with PowerPoint, Word and Excel experience is a bonus, and will be considered when choosing the best applicant for this internship position.
